Boosting Digital Connectivity, Bank Jatim to Launch the Latest Version of JConnect

SURABAYA, April 18, 2026. Bank Jatim once again reaffirmed its commitment to digital transformation through the Pre-Event Launching of JConnect, its latest digital banking application designed to provide seamless connectivity for customers. Held in Kota Lama Surabaya, the Pre-Event Launching titled Road to JConnect Zone was attended by Bank Jatim President Director Winardi Legowo, Director of IT, Digital & Operations Wiweko Probojakti, Director of Micro, Retail & Sharia Business Tonny Prasetyo, Director of Finance, Treasury & Global Services RM Wahyu Kusumo Wisnubroto, and Director of Compliance Umi Rodiyah on Saturday (18/4).
Winardi explained that innovation is the core essence of Bank Jatim. The bank’s digital transformation began in 2016 with the launch of Bank Jatim Mobile Banking. As customer needs evolved and with a strong commitment to delivering more integrated and accessible services, the platform was rebranded as JConnect in 2021. This rebranding was not merely a name change, but a commitment by the company to deliver limitless connectivity for the people of East Java and Indonesia.
“Today, Bank Jatim officially introduces the latest version of JConnect. The development of this application is fully based on the voice of customers, reflecting the direct aspirations and needs of our users. JConnect now comes with 36 new advanced features as an initial step toward our grand vision of building an integrated Super App,” Winardi emphasized.
Some of JConnect’s key features include biometric login, integrated portfolio, complete e-wallet top-ups (OVO, GoPay, DANA, and e-money), online complaint services for transparency, card management for independent debit card control, scheduled transfers for automatic recurring transactions, and personalization features such as changeable themes with red (energetic & passionate), green (calm & harmonious), and yellow (optimistic & cheerful) color options.
Winardi added that the current number of registered JConnect users has reached approximately 1,025,000. “With the launch of this latest version, Bank Jatim is targeting significant growth to reach 2 million registered users by December 2026,” he stated.
As the highlight of this innovation series, Bank Jatim will hold a Grand Launching event titled JConnect Zone from May 1–3, 2026 at Grand City Surabaya. This event is designed to provide customers with a hands-on experience through JConnect application activation and QRIS transactions with various partner merchants. JConnect Zone will feature a range of exciting activities, including interactive zones and digital banking experiences, collaborations with UMKM and lifestyle merchants, exclusive promotions for JConnect users, digital literacy talk shows and workshops, entertainment from local and national artists, as well as public services such as vehicle tax payments and free medical check-ups. “This three-day event is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend and enliven JConnect Zone,” Winardi added.
JConnect is intended for all customer segments, ranging from retail, MSMEs, to corporate clients. The application is designed to be user-friendly for both digital-native generations and communities in areas with limited access to physical banking services. “We hope JConnect will become the primary digital banking platform for Bank Jatim customers—not only as a transaction tool, but also as a financial solution that helps people achieve their financial goals,” Winardi concluded.
